Paramount+ Drops Price to $3 for Two Months

Paramount+ Drops Price to $3 for Two Months

Paramount+ just slashed its subscription price to $2.99 per month for the first two months. The streaming service normally costs $7.99 monthly for its ad-supported plan.

This is Paramount’s biggest discount yet as streaming wars heat up. With Netflix raising prices and Disney+ getting more expensive, Paramount+ is betting low prices will steal customers from competitors.

Cheap Way to Binge Hit Shows

The deal gives you access to popular shows like Yellowjackets, 1923, and Tulsa King. You’ll also get live sports, including NFL games and March Madness. Plus there’s a huge library of movies from Paramount Pictures.

The timing isn’t random. Paramount+ launched later than Netflix and Disney+, so they’re still building their audience. They’ve been spending billions on new shows but only have 67 million subscribers compared to Netflix’s 260 million.

The promotion applies to new subscribers only. After two months, your bill jumps back to the regular $7.99 price unless you cancel.

What Happens Next

Expect more streaming deals like this. Every service is fighting for your attention and wallet. Paramount+ hopes cheap prices now will hook you on their shows, making you less likely to cancel later. It’s a risky move that costs them money upfront but could pay off if enough people stick around.
