Madonna Copies Charli XCX’s Grammy-Winning Album Design

Madonna just announced her new album using the exact same design team that created Charli XCX’s famous “brat” look. The pop icon revealed “Confessions on a Dance Floor II” with bold typography and minimalist fonts that look strikingly similar to last year’s biggest album design trend.

This isn’t just any design team. Special Offer, Inc. won a Grammy in 2025 for their work on Charli XCX’s “brat” album, which became famous for its neon green color and blurry Arial font that spawned countless memes and copycats.

Same Team, New Queen

Madonna’s announcement uses the classic Helvetica font in all caps, stretched text, and flashing typography – all signature moves from the brat playbook. The Material Girl even created a provocative new logo using her legs in silver boots to form the letter “M” behind a speaker.

While Madonna brought back Stuart Price, the original producer from her 2005 “Confessions” album, she’s clearly betting on Special Offer’s hot streak for the visual side. After brat’s success, their typography style appeared everywhere from murals to unofficial merch generators.

What’s Next

The album drops July 3rd with the first single “I Feel So Free.” If the design follows brat’s playbook, expect to see Madonna’s Helvetica treatment spreading across social media, merchandise, and probably a few unauthorized meme generators too.
