Cotopaxi’s solution is surprisingly simple: get rid of zippers completely. The Coraza uses reinforced snap-on latches with built-in TSA locks instead. When something breaks, the company ships you a replacement part for free, along with a QR code that links to repair videos.
The whole suitcase is built this way. Wheels pop off and snap back on. Handles can be swapped out. Even the interior organizers are modular and removable. The outdoor gear company spent years developing this approach after realizing most luggage failures happen to just a few key parts.
