Adobe just launched AI that can study your artwork and then create new images in your exact style. The new Firefly Custom Models let artists and brands upload their own drawings, photos, or designs to train the AI.
This is a big deal because most AI art generators create random styles that change every time. Now you can teach Adobe’s AI to match your specific look – whether that’s your cartoon characters, your photography style, or your brand’s visual identity.
Your Personal Art Assistant
Here’s how it works: You upload 10-20 examples of your art or photos. Adobe’s AI studies things like your color choices, brush strokes, lighting, and overall aesthetic. Then when you type in prompts like “a dog sitting in a park,” it creates that image but in your signature style.
This could be huge for small businesses and freelance artists. Instead of spending hours creating similar artwork for a client’s social media posts or marketing materials, you could train the AI once and generate dozens of consistent images in minutes.
The feature is in beta testing now, meaning it’s free to try but still being improved. Adobe says they built privacy protections so your uploaded art stays private and isn’t used to train their main AI system.
What’s Next
Adobe plans to add more customization options and faster processing times. If this works well, expect other AI art companies to copy this approach quickly.
