But hours after the announcement, Musk jumped in to say the change wasn’t happening yet. He didn’t explain why he blocked it or whether it might still happen later.
The move would have been a big shift for X’s creator program. Many successful creators on the platform have global audiences, and this change could have significantly reduced their earnings if views from other countries counted for less money.
