Apple is reportedly working on three new high-end products that will join its most expensive “Ultra” lineup. Fresh off launching a budget-friendly MacBook, the company is now swinging in the opposite direction with premium devices that will cost significantly more than regular Apple products.
This marks Apple’s continued push into luxury tech territory, where customers pay thousands more for top-tier performance and features. The Ultra branding started with the Apple Watch Ultra and has become Apple’s way of signaling “this is our most expensive version.”
The Premium Push
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, these three mystery products might not actually carry the “Ultra” name, but they’ll definitely carry Ultra-level price tags. Apple has been testing whether customers will pay premium prices for premium features, and so far, the strategy seems to be working.
The timing is interesting because Apple just released the more affordable MacBook Neo, showing the company is trying to capture both budget-conscious buyers and people willing to spend big on the latest tech.
Apple’s Ultra products typically offer features that most people don’t need but some customers really want – like extreme durability, professional-grade performance, or cutting-edge technology that’s not ready for mainstream products yet.
What’s Next
Apple hasn’t revealed what these three products will be, but expect announcements in the coming months. If history is any guide, they’ll be impressive, expensive, and probably make regular Apple products look budget-friendly by comparison.
