Netflix Brings Back Jessica Jones in New Daredevil Show

Netflix Brings Back Jessica Jones in New Daredevil Show

Netflix just dropped a trailer for “Daredevil: Born Again” that reveals Jessica Jones is joining the superhero show. The purple-clad detective appears alongside the blind lawyer turned vigilante in what looks like Marvel’s biggest Netflix comeback yet.

This is huge news for Marvel fans who thought these characters were gone forever. Netflix canceled both Daredevil and Jessica Jones years ago, leaving storylines hanging and fans disappointed. Now Disney is bringing them back together on the same platform that originally made them famous.

The Gang’s All Here

The trailer shows Jessica Jones in her signature style, promising to “take this city back” alongside Daredevil. Both characters were fan favorites during Netflix’s original Marvel run, which also included Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Punisher. Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock (Daredevil) while Krysten Ritter reprises her role as the sarcastic, super-strong private investigator Jessica Jones.

This crossover makes sense since both characters operate in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood. Their gritty, street-level approach to superhero stories set them apart from the bigger Marvel movies.

What’s Next

“Daredevil: Born Again” launches on Disney+ in March 2025. The show promises to continue the darker, more mature tone that made the original Netflix series popular. Fans are already speculating whether other Netflix Marvel characters like Luke Cage or The Punisher might show up too. For now, seeing Jessica Jones back in action is enough to get people excited about Marvel’s street-level heroes again.
